Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Deputy Adviser (Medicinal Plants)
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Botany, Pharmacognosy, Agriculture, Agronomy, or Forestry.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in medicinal plants research, development, policy, and implementation.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
2. Assistant Adviser (Botany)
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Botany or Pharmacognosy.
- Five years of experience in medicinal plant development and propagation.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. in Botany/Pharmacognosy.
- Published research work.
3. Finance & Administrative Officer
Eligibility:
- Officers holding analogous posts or possessing prescribed service experience in relevant grades.
- Minimum five years of experience in administration, establishment, and accounts matters.
4. Research Officer (Botany)
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Botany or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject).
- Two years of experience in identification of medicinal plants and crude drugs used in Indian systems of medicine.
5. Assistant Research Officer
Essential Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Botany, Pharmacognosy, Forestry, Agriculture, Horticulture, Medicinal Plants, Biotechnology, or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as a main subject).
- Knowledge of computer operations.
6. Accountant
Eligibility:

- Completion of training in Cash & Accounts from ISTM or equivalent institution.
