1. Project Associate-I
Number of Posts: 01
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc./M.Pharm./M.S. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, or Natural Products Chemistry from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification:
- Research experience in Organic Chemistry, Natural Product Synthesis, and Analytical Chemistry.
Age Limit: 35 Years
Monthly Fellowship:
- ₹31,000 + HRA for NET/GATE qualified candidates.
- ₹25,000 + HRA for non-NET/GATE candidates.
2. Senior Project Associate
Number of Posts: 01
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc./M.Pharm./M.S. in relevant disciplines with 3 years of Research & Development experience.
OR
- Ph.D. in Chemistry/Chemical Science with 2 years of Research & Development experience.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in Asymmetric Synthesis, Multi-Step Organic Synthesis, and Analytical Chemistry.
Age Limit: 40 Years
Monthly Fellowship:
- ₹42,000 + HRA.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a Walk-In Interview. If a large number of applications are received, the screening committee may apply additional screening criteria before the interview.
Walk-In Interview Details
- Interview Date: 29 June 2026 (Monday)
- Reporting Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Venue: CSIR-IIIM, Canal Road, Jammu
Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be permitted to attend the interview.
Important Instructions
- The appointment is purely temporary and project-based.
- Initial engagement will be for one year or till the project duration, whichever is earlier.
- The current project is sanctioned up to 31 March 2028.
